The Housing Programs

The Auburn Corps provided 5,500 nights of shelter and prevented homelessness to 184 individuals in 2016.

About 15% of the homeless population in the U.S. is comprised of 'chronically homeless' individuals.

This population is especially vulnerable during the hottest and coldest months of the year.

Find a Location

As long as there's The Salvation Army, there's no such thing as 'no place to go.'

Auburn Corps Social Services Director, Michelle Fish, speaks to her experience working with Salvation Army since 1991: "The hugs and the tears when peoples' hearts are broken by kindness and compassion. When people say 'I couldn't have done it without the Salvation Army. The genuine gratefulness. These are my best memories."

The Salvation Army Auburn Corps keeps the lights on for

seniors and low income families.
